Saturday was the first day of modern gun deer season. Michael and Nathan Clark of El Dorado came to hunt and visit his family, David, Patricia, and Ethan Clark. Daniel, Tiffany, and Holden Clark of Smackover came for lunch and a very nice visit. Holden is at a very fun age now.

Leon and Sue Stokes visited with Terry and Tammy Gurley in Vilonia this weekend.
We got a nice, slow rain on Sunday.
Ethan Clark and the Mt. Vernon Fire Department assisted the Stamps and Waldo Fire Departments in fighting a house fire in Buckner late Sunday morning. No one was home, and it was a total loss.
