Holiday Open House a success on Sunday afternoon

Despite the chill in the air and drizzly, overcast skies, hundreds turned out in the afternoon on Sunday, Nov. 12, for the Holiday Open House held around the Magnolia Square and other locations in town. The Handmade Market was inside Magnolia Arts, where singers entertained patrons, and several businesses offered discounts and refreshments to those braving the dismal weather. At 5:30 p.m., Cecil Traylor Wilson Garden was illuminated for the holiday season. Magnolia High School choir students Hannah Sullivan and Grant Baker provided musical entertainment for the crowd at the garden.
