CCS senior chosen for NYLF on law and CSI

Outstanding high school students from across the nation will take part in a unique career development opportunity: the National Youth Leadership Forum: Law & CSI, an Envision program. Forum sessions will be held over six days in the Washington, D.C., area, to introduce young scholars to the many challenges and career options in the legal profession and forensic science.

Many of the students who attend the conference are nominated by teachers and guidance counselors based on their leadership potential and interest in law and crime scene investigation.

“This is where the future begins to take shape for many students,” said Andrew Potter, chief academic officer for NYLF Law & CSI. “The forum provides a valuable opportunity to learn from partners at law firms, forensic pathologists, criminal defense attorneys, prosecutors, professors, and experts in the legal profession.”

Brody Foster, a senior at Columbia Christian School in Magnolia, was chosen to participate in the forum. Foster is a member of the CCS trap shooting and soccer teams, and a member of Central Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoys weightlifting and Ultimate Frisbee.

Foster plans to attend college in the fall of 2018 for undergraduate studies and then to apply for law school.
