The seventh annual Rip Powell Invitational Golf Tournament will be held Friday, July 28 at the Magnolia Country Club.
There will be a morning flight tee time of 8:30 a.m. and an afternoon flight tee time of 1:30 p.m.
Teams will be comprised of four golfers with the format in each flight being a four-man scramble.
The entry fee of the event, which will include breakfast, lunch, and a goodie bag, is $400 per team or $100 a person for individual golfers that do not comprise a full four-man team.
In those instances, individual golfers will be grouped into complete full four-man teams as possible.
Sponsorship opportunities for businesses and individuals are also available. The levels include Gold, $1,000; Blue, $500; Hole, $200; and Tee Box, $100.
Proceeds will benefit the Mulerider football program.
Most-recently, the annual fundraising event has resulted in the naming rights of the football playing field in honor of Rip Powell, as well as new player lockers within the Auburn Smith Fieldhouse.
