Emerson Elementary School will host a Kindergarten Camp 8-11 a.m. today and tomorrow for all incoming kindergarteners for 2017-2018. The purpose of this camp is to get your child acquainted with the elementary campus, routines and procedures, and his or her teacher. LifeShare is having a blood drive 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Lafayette County High School, 712 Chestnut Street in Lewisville. The blood drive is part of LifeShare Blood Centers’ 2017-2018 LifeScholars program. The program is designed to honor students who demonstrate community service and leadership by becoming regular blood donors.
