On Tuesday, Feb. 14, Emerson Elementary hosted its first “Breakfast Buddies.” All students in kindergarten through sixth grade were able to invite an adult family member to have breakfast in the cafeteria. Donuts, coffee, juice, and milk were served for breakfast. The Emerson Elementary Student Council members were in charge of serving food and drinks and cleaning up. They all did an excellent job. Sponsors include the local Magnolia Wal-Mart and Spudnut Shop & Deli. A huge thank you to all who participated and those who helped sponsor this event.
