Midsouth Summit Black Expo to be held Feb. 25

LITTLE ROCK — The Thirteenth Annual Midsouth Summit Black Expo, presented by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), will celebrate Black History Month by bringing together the community for a day of entertainment, health education, and shopping.

The expo is scheduled for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Metroplex Event Center, 10800 Colonel Glenn Road in Little Rock. Admission is free.

The UAMS MammoVan mobile mammography unit will be on hand to provide mammograms. To make an appointment or determine if you qualify for services, call (800) 259-8794.

Participants can also get colorectal cancer screenings to complete in the privacy of their own home, as well as free cancer health education, live entertainment and more.
