Little Rock police find no victims after gunshots at hotel

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Little Rock police say no injuries were reported after shots were fired inside a Marriott hotel in the city's River Market district.

Police say the shooting was reported late Saturday on the 17th floor of the hotel at 3 Statehouse Plaza. A police report released Monday says officers went door to door in the hotel in search of shooting victims, but found none.

The report says officers recovered multiple spent casings and bullets, as well as cell phones, a lighter and a pair of headphones.

Witnesses told officers that they heard loud arguing, then multiple gunshots. Witnesses told police that they saw three men running to a stairwell after the shots were fired.

No arrests have been announced.
