Gloria Dean Neal Roberson, 77, of Homer, La., died Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, in Homer, La. She was born March 29, 1939 to Joel and Josie Wilson Neal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott B. (Doc) Roberson; one son, Byron J. Roberson; three brothers, Theotis Neal, James Neal, and Joel Neal Jr.; and three sisters, Merdis Davis, Ophelia Warren, and Cleo Hall.
Survivors include a son, Craig Roberson of Homer; sisters, Hazel Moore, Joann Kelly, and Brenda Patton of Camden, Bessie Leaks of Los Angeles, Calif., and Grace Ford of Denver, Colo.; brothers, Claude and Wiley Neal of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 18, at Elbenezer Baptist Church in Homer with Rev. David Heard officiating. Interment followed at Elbethel Cemetery, under the direction of Marks Funeral Home, Inc., of Magnolia.
Visitation was held Friday, Feb. 17.
