Michael Henderson, 46, of Magnolia died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center. Mr. Henderson was born Sept. 10, 1970, in Magnolia, son of the late Frank and Elouise (Wafer) Henderson.
Michael made his living as a mechanic for as long as his health allowed.
He was predeceased by his father and one brother, David Henderson.
Michael is survived by one son, Michael Henderson, and one daughter, Jessica Otwell, both of Magnolia; five grandchildren; his mother, Elouise Henderson; five brothers, Jerry Henderson, Elvis Henderson, Joe Henderson, Ray Henderson, and Tony Henderson, all of Magnolia; five sisters, Mae Bell Bradley, Annie Lee Gilbert, and Mary Louise Carrington of Magnolia, Barbara Henderson of San Antonio, Texas, and Clara Henderson of California.
The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Kings Hill AME Church in Magnolia with Pastor Clarence Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Kings Hill Cemetery under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service of Magnolia.
Calling hours will be from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Henderson’s Mortuary.
