Arkansas Children’s hosts statewide Festival of Stars Toy, Donation Drive

On Friday, December 15, from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. you can make the holidays brighter for children in our state by giving a brand-new toy or making an online donation to Arkansas Children’s Festival of Stars Toy and Donation Drive. Festival of Stars benefits patients who spend the holiday season at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and who visit our outpatient clinics throughout the year. Toys donated will also be used to stock Arkansas Children’s Northwest when it opens in early 2018.

The Festival of Stars Toy and Donation Drive is a statewide effort to collect toys and raise funds for patients at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Arkansas Children’s Northwest, and the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Clinics. Toys and donations will be accepted at 10 additional locations around the state. This new effort reflects Arkansas Children’s commitment to reaching more children where they live, learn and play.

All funds raised through Festival of Stars will support the Child Life and Education Fund and the Social Work fund at Arkansas Children’s Northwest and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Individuals, families and community groups have the opportunity to make the holiday season special for these children by making an in-kind donation of new toys or a monetary donation.
