Several former Magnolia Panthers who played the first game in Panther Stadium on Nov. 11, 1966, were present during Friday's conference opening game against White Hall. The members of the team are pictured with the homecoming queen that season and were introduced prior to the start of the game. On Nov. 11, 1966, the Panthers defeated De Queen 21-19 in the stadium. The Leopards were coached by Don Hubbard, who became the Panthers' head coach the following season. Hubbard eventually led Magnolia to three state football titles.
