ROSE MARY CLARK

Rose Mary Clark, 63 of McNeil, passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas. Services are pending with Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., in Magnolia.

GLORIA FULLER

Gloria Kyle Fuller of Stamps, passed away Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016. Mrs. Fuller was born Sept. 22, 1929 to Nancy Belle Guin and Alfred Daniel Kyle.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Stamps.

Mrs. Fuller was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Fuller; four brothers, George W. Kyle, Alfred Ray Kyle, Donald Lewis Kyle, and Patrick Lee Kyle; and one sister, Margarette Nadine Keith.

She is survived by one brother, Daniel Kyle and wife Connie Musick of Baton Rouge, La., and many other family and friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 25 at First Baptist Church in Stamps, with Bro. Mike Turner officiating. Interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Magnolia, under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps.

Visitation was held Saturday, Sept. 24 at Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.

Pallbearers were George Kyle, Danny Kyle, Ronnie Kyle, Randy Nolen, Michael Morris, and Sonny Higdon.

MCDOWELL

Gwendolyn McDowell, 79, of Emerson, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, at her home. Mrs. McDowell was born April 26, 1937 in Emerson to the late Jesse and the late Alto (Doss) Thomas.

She married Ralph McDowell.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph McDowell Sr. in 2011; one son, Don McDowell; two brothers, Paul Thomas and Donnell Thomas; and one sister, Joyce Thomas.

She is survived by four sons, Ralph McDowell Jr. of Magnolia, Charles McDowell of California, Robert McDowell of Arizona, and James McDowell of Homer, La.; two daughters, Peggy McDowell of Mira Loma, Calif., and Patricia Jones of Adelanto, Calif.; one brother, Carnell Thomas of Emerson; one sister, Maggie Wells of Milwaukee, Wisc.; 25 grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28 at Elm St. Church of Christ in Emerson, with Minister Floyd Miller officiating. Burial will follow in 23rd Psalm Cemetery in Magnolia, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service of Magnolia.

Calling hours will be from 12 noon-4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Henderson’s Mortuary, Inc., in Magnolia.
