Columbia County 4-H conducted their annual “Talks & Demonstrations” recently at the Columbia County Extension Office. Six participants competed in three divisions.
Winning the senior division, Amber Dycus demonstrated “Making a Chandelier.” In the junior division, Norman Smith presented “The 2016 Ford GT 350 Shelby Mustang,” third place; Kyle Smith talked on “The Cosmos,” second place; and Malli Nix demonstrated “How to Check a Person’s Blood Sugar,” first place.
In Cloverbuds, Joseph Smith gave his talk on “Trains” and Dawson Dooly demonstrated “Planting Sweet Bell Peppers.”
Judges for the event were the “Purplehull-P-R Guy” Bill Dailey and Bob Cook, Stateline Beekeepers president.
