Students at Central Elementary School are collaborating with the local chapter of Circle of Friends to support the Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Students are collecting toiletry items that the hospital will give to families who have children staying in the hospital. Once the toiletry items have been collected, individual bags will be filled and the toiletry bags will be given to Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Students will be collecting these items through Feb. 26. Anyone interested in making a donation to this effort may bring items to the school office at 456 E. North St. The following list includes the items that are being accepted. All products should be new and unopened. Travel size bottles are preferred for individual use. Items include shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouth wash, soap, body wash, face wash, face wipes, lip balm, and quart-sized bags.
