MJHS/Central Elementary science fair winners

The overall champion for the 2016 Magnolia Junior High School and Central Elementary Science Fair was Adam Pieratt’s project “Are Energy Drinks Harmful to Athletes?” The win will advance the ninth grader to the Southwest Arkansas Regional Science Fair at SAU on Mar. 17. The overall winner for Central Elementary was Maggie McDonald. Other winners included: Biological Science: ninth grade — 1st Emma Schroeder, 2nd Bailey McCook, 3rd Chase Hampton; 3rd Hayden Rogers; sixth grade — 1st Jacob Hebert, 2nd Dalen Blanchard, 3rd Braden Ware, 3rd Colin Herold. Earth and environmental science: ninth grade — 1st Blake Prince, 2nd Parker Williams, 3rd Raegan Nix; sixth grade: 1st Maggie McDonald, 2nd Ta’Darius Page, 3rd Damarion Wesson. Medicine and health science: ninth grade — 1st Adam Pieratt, 2nd Sydney Scruggs, Rylee Creed; sixth grade — 1st Cade Browning, Taahir Banks, 3rd Jaliah Larry. Physical science: ninth grade — 1st Karlin Whaley, 2nd Anna Dodson, 3rd Kyla Juniel; sixth grade — 1st Jordan Young, 2nd Kaleigh Launius, 3rd Cantley Gosdin, 3rd Andy Trigg.
