Circuit Court releases docket for Sept. 4

A preliminary docket for Columbia County Circuit Court Criminal Division has been released by the office of Circuit Judge Larry Chandler. These defendants may or may not be required to appear in court at this time, due to various circumstances.

Court will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, in the courtroom at the Columbia County Criminal Detention Facility. Circuit Judge Hamilton Singleton of Ouachita County will be presiding over court proceedings. Defendants scheduled to appear, and their charges, are listed as follows:

•Matthew Kelley, theft of property over $5,000, battery second degree.

•Antonio Robinson, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearm, possession of controlled substance (marijuana) with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated first degree.

•Terrance Jones, theft of property over $1,000, three counts theft by receiving over $1,000, resisting arrest.

•Sammy Otwell, delivery of controlled substance (methamphetamine).

•Christopher Todd Burks, aggravated residential burglary, aggravated robbery, possession of controlled substance (marijuana), possession of controlled substance (hydrocodone), probation revocation, habitual offender.

•Gregory McLeod, theft of property over $1,000, battery second degree, habitual offender.
